Years & Years have debuted a new song titled “Hypnotised” in an ad campaign for H&M directed by Baz Luhrmann, director of ‘Romeo & Juliet’, ‘Moulin Rouge’ and ‘The Great Gatsby’.
The short film, titled ‘The Secret Life of Flowers’ features the exclusive debut of the new track.
“Hypnotised” is Years & Years’ first new material since their single “Meteorite” last year, recorded as part of the soundtrack for ‘Bridget Jones’ Baby’
Recently, frontman Olly Alexander has also released a BBC documentary film titled ‘Growing Up Gay’ which explores the mental health issues faced by young LGBT+ people.
Years & Years’ last album was 2015’s ‘Communion’ and new music is expected from the trio next year, including music from Alexander’s recent studio session with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter.
